Gap audit (what THROUGHLINE exposes that ad-hoc work hid)
Section titled “Gap audit (what THROUGHLINE exposes that ad-hoc work hid)”- Layer 0 is implicit. The SUBSTRATE lives as four answers inside an entity doc, not as a
first-class brief. Fix: a
SUBSTRATE.md(or CANON §0.5) capturing motivation + sovereign constraints + walk-away conditions. - Layer 3 IDENTITY is downstream-inferred. We have a BRAND (Layer 4) but never stated the archetype/values it expresses upstream. The package literally jumps 1→4, the failure mode LAYERS.md names. Fix: name the archetype + the “never” explicitly.
- THESIS has no falsification condition. “Story free, universe asset” is stated but not falsifiable-on-paper — what observation kills it? Fix: one line.
- MECHANISM not behaviorally audited. The free→collectible loop assumes engagement; run
the B=MAP / friction levers (
LENSES.mdB) and own the gambles. - Coherence debt (from
critpath sweep Foundation): the PBC pivot left the old “Foundation” sense across ~11 docs (9 UNTRACKED). The ARTIFICE layer changed; the SPINE shows the rest of the stack hasn’t caught up. Fix: the sweep worklist from that run.
None of these are desirability problems — OPEN PANEL is not being judged “good business.” They are coherence + fidelity gaps: places the stack is incomplete or internally inconsistent. That is the only thing THROUGHLINE asserts about them.
What this proves
Section titled “What this proves”Every THROUGHLINE layer resolves to a real OPEN PANEL artifact, and the empty corners are specific and addressable rather than vague. The framework didn’t just describe the work we did this session — it located the work we skipped, in priority order, without appeal to whether the venture is attractive.
